GRAD PASS: If you RSVP’d by the deadline, you will have received an email from Tassel with a link to a Grad Pass QR code. Please screenshot this QR code and bring it with you to Commencement. Without it your name will not be read.
LATE-ADD READER CARDS: If you did not RSVP by the deadline you may still register in-person. You will need to fill out a “Late-Add Reader Card” in the Chancellor’s Office (Van Doren Hall, 104A) before DATE TBD. You will need to bring this card with you to commencement, this is what will be used to read your name aloud during the ceremony. Without it, your name will not be read.
LATE REGALIA ORDERS: If you did not order your cap and gown by the deadline, please head to The Bookie ASAP, as their remaining stock is limited.
REHEARSAL: As a reminder, there is no rehearsal for Bachelor and Masters students. There is a Hooding Practice for all doctoral students and their hooding professor at 2:00 PM on Friday, Dec. 5th in Beasley Coliseum.
CROSSING THE STAGE: Follow the line leader when the diploma march begins and remember to bring your Grad Pass or Late Reader Card with you when you come forward! Before crossing the stage, you will have your graduation photo taken. After you receive your diploma cover, you will return to your seat for the remainder of the ceremony. The entire ceremony will last no more than two hours.
PROGRAM BOOK: There will be no printed copies of the program, however you may access a digital copy here the week of Commencement. Please note the Program is a list of those who applied to graduate by the Fall 2025 deadline, not a list of those participating in the Commencement ceremony.
SECURITY: A Weapons Detection System will be in place at each entrance. To learn more about the detection system, please visit their website.

FOOTWEAR: Please wear appropriate footwear. While there are no restrictions on footwear, be mindful that you will be walking on many different surfaces and navigating stairs and ramps.
