Thank you for submitting an RSVP to attend the WSU Pullman Commencement! The December 2025 Ceremony will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Beasley Coliseum.

ACADEMIC REGALIA: If you submitted an order for regalia rental on the Herff Jones website before the deadline, or if you have been in contact with our office regarding late apparel, you may pick it up from the Chancellor’s Office (Van Doren Hall, Room 104) on DATE – DATE.

ARRIVAL TIME: Plan to arrive no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony start time.

ENTRANCE & SECURITY: Doors will be open one hour before each ceremony. All individuals entering Beasley Coliseum will walk through a Weapons Detection System. Beasley Coliseum enforces a Clear Bag Policy to enhance safety and stream line entry procedures. Approved bags include:

  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 14″ x 8″ x 14″. 
  • Clear drawstring backpacks no larger than 14″ x 14″
  • One-gallon clear re-sealable plastic storage bags

From the parking areas, enter through the southeast tunnel doors located off North Fairway Drive (across from the baseball fields). Take an immediate left up the corridor, and proceed to your designated dressing room.

DRESSING ROOMS & LINE UP:

  • Room 40: Stage Party #1 – WSU president, provost, regents, vice presidents, honor guard, mace bearer, ASWSU and GPSA presidents, and Alumni Association president. The line-up area will be in the lower corridor of Beasley Coliseum.
  • Room 41: Stage Party #2 – All deans, commissioning officer, and APAC chair. The line-up area will be in the lower corridor of Beasley Coliseum.
  • Room 39: Front Row Faculty – Vice provosts, associate vice presidents, associate deans, ROTC cadre and other designated faculty. This room can be used to change and store personal belongings during the ceremony- it will be locked.
  • Room 36: Hooding Faculty – You may change and store personal belongings during the ceremony. The room will be locked or will have an attendant.
  • General Faculty: Departmental faculty play an important role in the student processional, assisting with the lineup and keeping the students focused and moving. General faculty will assemble with undergraduate candidates in the seating areas.

  1. Mace bearer and honor guards (Faculty Senate chair, ASWSU and GPSA presidents)
  2. Vice provosts, associate deans, designated faculty, ROTC Cadre
  3. Hooding faculty
  4. Candidates for advanced degrees
  5. ROTC cadets
  6. College gonfalon bearers
  7. President’s platform party
    • College deans
    • Honored guests
    • Vice presidents
    • Regents
    • Provost
    • President
  8. Color guard

FACULTY RECESSIONAL & REGALIA RETURN: The ceremony will be completed in under two hours. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Row Marshal will guide the Platform Party out of the arena. If we rented regalia for you, we kindly ask that you return your regalia to the Chancellor’s Office within one week of the ceremony.
